Things Monica didn't tell her husband

Monica was married 16 years ago. No member of her family was present in her wedding. She invited our father, then 64, and our mother, then 59, who were already divorced.

Mum couldn’t have gone because she didn’t have any money. Our father had stripped her of her part of the heritage and refused to pay alimony. Because of that our mother lived in poverty.

Monica got mad because our mother didn’t attend her wedding. I guess she wanted our mother to walk 3 000 miles to get there.

Our father refused to go and Monica didn’t seem to realize that such was a lucky event, since he couldn’t speak any English anymore due to his mental deterioration caused by excessive consumption of alcohol. There was the risk that he misbehaved in front of the family of Monica’s husband.

I am almost certain that Monica didn’t tell her future husband that our father was an alcoholic. Of course, Monica didn’t tell him either, that our father lived with a woman with whom he had had three children out of wedlock, and for years he had lived a double life.

Monica wouldn’t ever tell her husband that our father had attempted to rape his youngest daughter, our kid sister Veronica, who would die in 2006 at 33 leaving three children orphans.

My twin sister, Monica has always been an obedient person. When I went to the north of my country trying to find a job, our father ordered her to despise me and get me out of her life. She did. Five years later, when her husband learnt that I lived unemployed and not working he ordered her to despise me and feel ashamed of having a brother like me. She did it again.

There are feeble-minded people in the world and Monica is such a specimen. Family violence has been thoroughly discussed by psychologist and scientist of human behavior because of the extent of the damage it causes. Jeffery Alan Jung told his wife that if our father had treated me like dirt from the time I was an infant, it couldn’t have hurt me in any possible way. I was the scum of the earth and that couldn’t be justified.

I have no doubt that this man, Jeffery Alan Jung is a despicable son of a bitch, but I cannot understand absolutely how my sister came to believe such abomination, eager to stab her twin brother in the back.

Monica and Jeffery go to church every Sunday and they are devout Catholics. This is the way they interpret Jesus teachings, love and understanding. They defecate in their beliefs and don’t give a damn.
