I answer a question published in Workplace Mental and Health Resources, X (formerly Twitter). Who has been your worst bully – Second part

My father was my worst bully, but he was not the only one. Two narcissistic coworkers harassed me and hurt me badly

Because I was a very bad student, from the beginning (except with everything that involved reading and writing), and having behaved badly almost everywhere, my father considered me the worst criminal who ever lived. My mother didn’t take care of me and did not realize that my father hated me. She did not defend me when I was attacked by my father or anyone else, or worse, she participated in that violence.

Unable to learn, target of my father’s anger (of homicidal intensity), I developed a very bad mental illness. Being 26 I found a psychiatrist who handled the subject as if I were “normal” (healthy), not because he was incompetent, but because he wouldn’t want me to heal; he hurt his clients (patients) as much as he could.

Five years later, being 31 and having failed at college for a second time (which made me lose the desire to live), I found another psychiatrist. He didn’t inform me or my parents about my mental illness (Borderline Personality Disorder), which is considered very serious. Three years later I found a third psychiatrist, who did just what his colleagues had done before.

Three criminal physicians, psychiatrists, hurt me badly. They would have wanted to see me death (suicide rate is very high in this condition), or at least ruined by substance abuse of legal or not legal drugs.

Being 33 and a half years old, a former classmate from college hired me for the first job of my life. He hated me because I had the looks of a high-performance sportsman (although I wasn’t such, at all) and in contrast, he suffered from a very bad condition, some kind of genetic mutation. Being very slim, he lacked muscle mass and his proportion of adipose tissue was very high.

I did very well in this job, for a very short time (a few weeks) I was happy. Seemed to me that it was worth having failed when I tried to kill myself, but that didn’t last. Two and a half months after being hired, my “friend” (boss), gaslighted me. He distorted everything, I was doing very well and he said that he couldn’t have hired anyone worse than me, for that individual couldn’t possibly have existed, couldn’t have been found anywhere in the whole world.

I resigned and my life became hell, once more.

This former classmate at college was a second bully. Extremely weak, both physically and mentally; vitally powerless.

I left that first job of my life early in 1998 (2 February, a Monday). I lived in despair, tried to work again, I did very well but I didn’t achieve anything.

I have been the kind of person who arises jealousy, envy, in narcissistic individuals. Because of that I was rejected or harassed when I worked in electronics maquiladoras as an unskilled worker, earning less than the equivalent of 50 US dollars a week.

Rather late in life, being almost 51, I entered a pharmaceutical company, as an English-Spanish translator. I worked with documentation which would be sent to the equivalent of what in the US is known as FDA (Food and Drugs Administration). I worked there for six years and three months.

It wasn’t a good job, but was far better than working as an unskilled worker, being better educated than many professionals. Two years after joining the company, I suffered a bicycling accident, I broke my left collarbone. It wasn’t bad, because it was a simple fracture. After six weeks I would be ok.

When I went back to work, late in June 2017 (being 53 years old), a coworker began harassing me. He was 19 years my junior, but I was taller and stronger than him, physically fit.

Omar would have felt relieved had he perceived in me an incompetent coworker, not very smart and with the looks of an individual who doesn’t live with good habits. He was known as a bully, untouchable because he was protected by the highest senior executive in the company, the director of our department. A woman.

In October 2018 (I was almost 54 and a half years old), this bully told his boss (a woman who had been hired two months earlier) that I had hurt someone badly. That wasn’t true, of course. He broke the law, defamation of character.

I informed that to the director of the department to which the bully, his boss and I belonged. That woman ordered the director of the Human Resources department (who was not her subordinate, but did hold a position at the same corporate level) that I must be sent to the institution where I received medical (psychiatric) care and obtain a document which proved that I was taking care of myself, for I had become a very big threat for everyone around me.

For the next two years and 10 months, I was forced to live defenseless.

Nobody did ever do any wrong to me. I imagined that I was being harassed because I was crazy.

I found the way to spread information on the bully’s behavior, and the way Human Resources had handled the affair. I was fired on 17 August 2021, a Tuesday. That is, more than five years ago.

I have lived a nightmare because again, once more, I was punished for being the target of violence perpetrated by bullies, evil individuals who suffered from very bad mental pathologies; my father, my “friend” and former classmate David in that electronics maquiladora; and Omar in that pharmaceutical company.

However, those three bullies did not get away with what they did to me. My father died 18 years and 10 months ago. I don’t know what happened to David, but I believe he could be dead. Omar must have been fired too from that pharmaceutical company, but his dismissal must have been justified. Because of that, he would have lost his compensation for having worked for 14 years in that place; he may not survive.

David backstabbed me in AVEX; Omar did harass me in Maver

The first place died long ago, the second could have died recently. Were this the case, both would be cadÁVEres (corpses).

I would celebrate that
